The above article contains an interview Tucker Carlson conducted with Victor Jimenez, the former spokesperson for DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. He states that he has always been a Democrat and as a young, Hispanic, Black man that he should be “a Democrat by default”. Jimenez lives in Virginia and voted for Youngkin for Governor. Why this amazing switch for this young man?
IMMIGRATION
Of all the issues you would think a young Hispanic would not cite as a reason to flee Biden’s policies is immigration. He told Tucker and Telemundo that, while he is certain there are some good people attempting to get in to the US, but there are also bad people coming in with bad intentions. People with guns, illegal drugs and running from law enforcement in their own country. To which I would say, why doesn’t everyone share this opinion? I have written previously about all of the problems with uncontrolled illegal immigration. Along with guns and drugs, we are also encouraging sex traffickers, the abuse of women and minors and strengthening the vicious Mexican cartels. On top of this none of these people are being tested or vaccinated against Covid. I thought beating the plague was our highest priority? There is nothing humane in Biden’s actions and certainly nothing beneficial to the country. Without a secure border you do not have a sovereign nation. It is insulting to assume that Hispanics, such as Jimenez, cannot see the cruel stupidity of our open borders.
THE ECONOMY
The second major reason Jimenez cited was Biden’s economic policies. “Biden is completely destroying the economy right now and people can feel it in their pockets and in their communities.” The inflation we are currently experiencing, the worst since Jimmy Carter, does not care about race or ethnicity, it hurts everyone, particularly the poor.
I encourage you to read the article and watch the video of the interview. Victor Jimenez is a bright, thoughtful and well spoken individual. He should become a campaign advisor to a Republican who will be trying to win back the House and Senate next November. He’s the real deal.
